ADMISSION  $5.00 PER PERSON, EXCEPT CONTESTANTS (CHILDREN UNDER 3 FREE)

CATEGORIES INCLUDE:   ($40 ENTRY FEE)

 

Baby Miss:      newborn to 23 mo.                           Judged on short party dress

Wee Miss:          2 – 4 years                                      Judged on short party dress

Little Miss:        5 – 8 years                                     Judged on short dress or evening gown

CATEGORIES INCLUDE:  ($45 ENTRY FEE)

 

Teen Miss:   13 – 15 years                             Judged on Casual wear & evening gown

Miss:             16 – 22 years                        Judged on Casual wear, evening gown &

REGISTRATION for MISS ONLY: 1-1:45 PM 

Miss Division contestants must be ready for interview at 2 PM

                         

REGISTRATION FOR BABY MISS THRU TEEN MISS  1:30-2:30 PM

 

The Miss Rural Retreat/Wythe County Fair Pageant will crown in each age division; Queen and 2 runners-up.  Queens in each age division will receive a beautiful crown, trophy and custom sash.  Trophies will be given to the two runners-up in each division.   Contestants not being crowned in the Baby Miss thru Junior Miss will receive a tiara for participation as Princesses. The Teen Miss and Miss contestants not being crowned will receive a gift.  The Miss Division contestant must be a resident of Virginia.  Please read rules and regulations.  The Miss division will be rewarded prize money of $100 to be given at the time of participation, at the Miss Virginia Association of Fairs Scholarship Pageant to be held at “The Homestead Resort” located in Hot Springs, Va. -January, 2014.  The Miss VAF entry fee will be paid by the Rural Retreat/Wythe County Fair Association for the Queen in the Miss division to compete at the state level.    The Teen Miss Division queen will receive a cash prize of $50.  The queens of all age divisions are asked to ride in the local parades during the year.  Transportation for the parades will be the responsibility of the winner.  Also, the queens will be REQUIRED to appear at the Rural Retreat/Wythe County Fair for an introduction, wearing their crowns and sashes.  The fair will be held Aug. 6th thru 10th, 2013.  Queens may be asked to participate in other events during the fair. There will be a professional photographer backstage for posed pictures.  Queens and runners-up are to have a group picture made immediately following crowning.
